Celebrate Repeal Day in style at Sip, Smoke & Savor, a rare cognac tasting event presented by K&L Wine Merchants. This Paul Marie et Fils Dinner Event is taking place at La Descarga on Monday, December 5th from 8-10pm. Nicolas Palazzi will lead a tasting of his finest imports, including a Paul Beau VSOP Cocktail, the Paul Beau Hors d’Age (retail price $130), Guillon Painturaud Hors d’Age ($300), Paul Marie “Faultline” (K&L Exclusive, $130) Paul Marie “Devant La Porte” (98 points Robert Parker, $600), and a “super rare” vintage bottling to be announced, “think pre-1930s and totally priceless.”
Besides the cognac tasting, the $70 ticket includes unlimited tacos, quesadillas and vampiros from Mexicali Taco & Co., as well as two of La Descarga’s custom hand-rolled cigars, which will pair nicely with the fine cognac in the venue’s beautiful outdoor cigar bar.
