Meaning “artisanship through a diversity of making,” Tsukuriwake features the foundational pillars of Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky, bottled at 48% ABV 🥃
(L to R)
Puncheon - the “heart” of Yamazaki (puncheon = 480-liter American oak casks)
Spanish Oak - “depth enhancer” gives Yamazaki its mature fruit notes with malt whiskies aged in oak casks from Northern Spain
Mizunara - Yamazaki’s “quintessential Japanese character and elegance” comes from malt whiskies long-matured in Mizunara casks - the rare Japanese oak takes 200 years to mature 😮
Peated Malt - a “hidden accent” that imparts smoky, earthy notes
