2021 is off to a helluva start - it’s a good thing the Booze Fairy delivered a bottle of @oldforester Single Barrel 100 Proof to calm the nerves 🥃 (Love the Old Fo 🧦 too!)
Launched nearly a year ago to the day, the Single Barrel 100 Proof and Barrel Strength releases replaced the 90 Proof Single Barrel offering. According to the press release, barrels that produce 100 proof bourbon will yield approximately 200 bottles. Depending on the proof, Barrel Strength selections will yield approximately 160 bottles.
The label says “MTS: THAT K HOUSE THOUGH.” I get “K House” - this barrel was selected from the 5th Floor of Warehouse K. No idea what “MTS” means, any thoughts friends?

Speaking of which, I can objectively say the 3rd Edition of “Home Bar Basics (and Not-So-Basics)” is beautiful! Swipe to see how the light catches the copper foil stamping - it’s just one of many design details that take the 10th anniversary refresh to another level. 👏
