On Thursday, October 21st, Santa Monica’s The Yard will debut its Late Night Menu with a launch party that takes place from 10pm to 1am. For The Yard’s Late Night Menu, Chef Chris “CJ” Jacobson (Top Chef) will feature the same farmers’ market driven sensibility that informs his regular gastropub and tapas-style menu. The new menu will also feature weekly rotating artisan beers on tap, boutique wines by the glass, and market-fresh seasonal cocktails by mixologist Blake Landis.

The starting Late Night Menu:

  • Paprika spiced calamari – roasted marinara, fried lemon, $10
  • Mini pulled pork Sloppy Joes – The Yard BBQ sauce, crispy onions, pickled carrots, fries, $12
  • The Yard house-ground burger – Carr Valley cheddar, grilled onions, 1000 Island, tomato, fries, $14
  • Arancini – crispy risotto balls, spicy romesco sauce, $8
  • Classic grilled cheese – Gruyere, Mozzarella, Asiago & Roaring Forties Blue, $9
  • Grilled vegetable plate with shallot vinaigrette, $8
  • Poutine – skinny fries, brown gravy, cheese curds, $8
  • Coffee pot d’crème with espresso grounds and sea salt, chocolate/hazelnut biscotti, $8

Late Night Drink Specials:

  • Specialty Cocktail of the Week, $5
  • Microbrew Draft of the Week, $4
  • Xante Sangria Blanca, $5
  • Pabst Blue Ribbon, $3

For Thursday night’s launch, The Yard will feature select food items and all of its drink specials for $3, including the Blackberry Bramble (this week’s Specialty Cocktail) and Craftsman 1903 (Microbrew Draft of the Week). After the Thursday launch, the Late Night Menu will run every Thursday to Saturday from 10pm to 1am.
